Maligayang Pasko – in Filipino Language and “Sheng Dan Jie Kuai Le” in Chinese Mandarin Pin Yin. We celebrate Christmas – the birth of our savior Jesus Christ. Christmas is the most celebrated Catholic feast as our savior was born, and even non-Catholic will also celebrate it. Here is my Christmas celebration in my apartment in Shenzhen City, GuangDong Province, Republic of China – away from home as I am an OFW at this time.
Nathan is on the age of discoveries, and we decided to give him a gift with the mark STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math), and this is his captured moment on Christmas Eve.
It’s a Kids Educational Learning Blocks Kit, 4-in1 with 226 pcs. Definitely he was very Happy for having this gift.
He invited his close classmates to come over to the apartment to celebrate Christmas 2019. He also gave gift to his classmates and play with them.
Well, while the kids are partying and playing, I am partying also with my new toys in DIY Amplifier build, a newly design class-D power Amplifier with my favorite LCD on the front panels. Merry Christmas DIYer’s!!!
In the Philippines, it s a lot more fun that you can really feel the Spirit of Christmas – I missing that, from the environment with decoration of “Parol” – a star-shaped Christmas Lantern, the traditional foods like “Tupig” that varies from place to place, from north to south, every corner play the Christmas song, you can hear it from the Radio, TV and and social media, and kids too singing the Christmas song, specially the house-to-house Caroling, the “Manu-Po” Ninong – a traditional respect that we inherited from generation to generation and a lot more stuff that I am missing in my place right now. I called my mom on Christmas eve, and the line is quiet busy – there’s a lot of call inbound and outbound to the Philippines.
Thanks God! I and my family and the people around us are healthy and safe in this Holiday, thank you for your blessings!
Happy Birthday Jesus!
Here is Nathan on Christmas Day!
