What’s going on guys, I’m Fatejohn. And here’s my first post and review of the Powkiddy X12.
Design and Construction
Black, Red, Blue and other colors are available on these device but what I got is an combination of Red and Blue, colored like Nintendo Switch. Moving on with the color, the Design is almost like a PSP or PS Vita, and with colored like mine it can be already called “PS Switch”, but again, It’s Powkiddy X12 here.
From the front we have the buttons, from right we have there A/B/X/Y and from left are the seperated direction buttons, both are nice and I can tell that it’s nice and not so cheap. The Start and Select buttons are also good, quite funny cause the one I got here spells “SELCET” for the Select button. Also to mention that there are tiny holes for speaker. The Dual Joystick are there and it’s rotatable 360 degree, I mean, the whole joystick can rotate which can be annoying, in some way.
At the top there’s the single L and R trigger in which not quite good cause it’s hard to click the trigger, except when you click it on the edge of it. We have the buttons for volume up and down. There’s a little confusion in the switch for power on and off of the device, and the button for it’s on and off. But you can somehow figure it out how it works when you have the actual device on your hand.
At the bottom, there’s the Mini USB, TV jack, 3.5 headphone jack, reset button for device when something weird going on, and the SD Card slot which I believe can read up to 32GB.
At the back, there’s a stereo speaker which are ok. Camera are somehow ok, but don’t expect like you can use it just like smartphone, picture and video are not clear from 2MP camera.
